SNOWY STROLL THROUGH FROST PARK

Take a winter evening stroll through Frost Park.

Originally the site of an early cemetery and later known as Victoria Park, the pleasant spot located in the centre of downtown Yarmouth provides a quiet space to clear your head and take a breather year-round.

Enjoy the moment solo or invite friends and family to be inspired by the park’s centrepiece - a beautiful 150-year-old three-tier fountain that is lit nightly. While you’re there, look up and absorb the illuminating (and exclusive) wintertime sight of the park’s trees adorned with countless lights.

Access photographs, stories, and thousands of artifacts, including antique toy fire engines, original uniforms and a huge collection of shoulder crests, patches and badges from fire departments around the world.

If you’re an antique auto enthusiast, see what engines from the 1800s to the 1930s looked like. If you’re feeling adventurous, take the wheel of a 1933 Chevrolet Bickle Pumper on display at the museum.
