ELRL makes do­na­tion for ct scan­ner

the do­na­tions for the St. Joseph’s Gen­eral hospi­tal’s Ct scan­ner con­tinue to climb.

re­cently, rhona Guertin, gen­eral man­ager of El­liot lake re­tire­ment liv­ing, and Gil Con­tant, chair of the Elrl board, pre­sented Wil­liam El­liott - chair of the St. Joseph’s Foun­da­tion and St. Joseph’s Gen­eral hospi­tal CEO Pierre ozolins with a $25,000 do­na­tion. The do­na­tion is to go to­wards the Ct scan­ner.

Guertin says Elrl pro­vides grants to var­i­ous or­ga­ni­za­tions and pro­jects.

“it def­i­nitely helps us with our pro­gram, and it helps all of our ex­ist­ing res­i­dents and any­one else in El­liot lake in need of these ser­vices,” says Guertin.

the fund for the Ct scan­ner is now about $900,000.

the cost of the Ct scan­ner and the ren­o­va­tions needed to ac­com­mo­date the scan­ner is about $1.55 mil­lion.
