Arrests shrink Niagara’s Wanted list

The Niagara’s Wanted list is shorter with a couple of arrests.

The big one was Brody Racine. He had been on the list for more than a year when uniform patrol officers picked him up at a residence Thorold on a hunch. Investigat­ors believe he had left Niagara, but his picture appeared on Facebook tagged the day before his arrest.

Racine, 34, faces 29 counts of fraud under $5,000, two counts of fraud over $5,000 and two counts of breach of recognizan­ce.

Also arrested recently were Jason Perkins, 46, of Niagara Falls, who was wanted for being unlawfully at large and William Piner, 35, of Niagara Falls; who was wanted for two counts of failure to comply.

The NRP runs its Niagara Wanted program to enlist the public in locating individual­s accused of crimes. The police post pictures and informatio­n on the subjects. The charges haven’t been proven in court.

There is a new face on the list. Patrick Morgason, 43, of Hamilton is wanted for mischief and two counts theft under $5,000 after a man broke into vending machines at the Casino Niagara Hotel in Niagara Falls.

Terrence Rivard, 32, of Niagara Falls, is one of the holdovers. He is wanted for assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and possession of a Schedule 2 substance.

Saundra Anne MacNeil, 29, of Mississaug­a is wanted for three counts of uttering a forged document.

Brian Iung, 20, of Niagara Falls and Toronto, is wanted for robbery and disguise with intent.

Ryan Schnare, 41, is also known as Ryan Paoletti. He is wanted for identity theft, fraud under $5,000 and uttering forged document.

Jason Collette, 36, of Niagara Falls, is wanted for uttering threats and fail to comply with probation.

Conroy Record, 28, of Etobicoke, is wanted for assault causing bodily harm.

Tyrell Carluccio, 21, of Niagaraon-the-Lake, is wanted for failure to comply with probation.

Colin Thiede, 30, of St. Catharines, is wanted for failure to attend and breach of recognizan­ce.

Dustin Johnson, 27, of Hamilton is sought for theft under $5,000 and is wanted by multiple police services in New Brunswick. He is also wanted by Haldimand OPP and is considered armed and dangerous.

Malcolm Edwards, 23, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant. Edwards is a resident of Niagara Falls with ties to Toronto. Edwards is wanted for numerous firearms offenses including possessing a restricted firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, careless use of a firearm, possessing a firearm contrary to a prohibitio­n order, failure to comply with recognizan­ce and failure to comply with probation. Police consider Edwards armed and dangerous and warn members of the public not to approach him.

John Mundinatz, 27, of St. Catharines, is wanted for assault and driving while prohibited.

Steven Corkery, who also goes by the name Esteban Criger, 25, of Niagara Falls and St. Catharines, is wanted for theft under $5,000, resisting arrest, breach of probation and three counts of breach of an undertakin­g.
