Ontario can’t afford to keep the Liberals

Ontarians have witnessed the most destructive, incompetent, public sector-friendly, academic out-of-touch politicians — namely the Liberal Party of Ontario.

For 13 years it has decimated Ontario’s financial past, present and future prosperity. We are all too familiar with their never-ending incompetence. Gas plants, e-Health, Mars, Ornge, disastrous hydro initiatives costing $37 billion too much, according to the auditor general of Ontario, and it seems to have no idea how to correct its disastrous energy plans. Where’s the outrage?

An education system continually in flux — as Premier Kathleen Wynne’s favourite pals are educational employees, the government even pays union costs as the teachers strike against the very same taxpayers who ante up to pay their negotiating costs.

Speaking of education, Ontario is near the bottom of the world education systems.

I would like to offer a few layperson suggestions on how we might change the course the Liberals are taking us on.

First, have one publicly funded education system, not four, not to mention the endless number of bureaucratic fatcats on all these publicly funded payrolls. Also move to year-round schooling, imagine the money that could be saved.

Next, renegotiate Ontario Power Generation contracts, especially their outrageous pension entitlements that nobody can even hope to equal — 11,000-plus employees are on the infamous Sunshine List.

Under the Liberal Party of Ontario, we’ve witnessed 300,000 industrial jobs leave this province, never to return, partially because of outrageous hydro costs.

And then, eliminate the asinine arbitration system in Ontario that is bankrupting everyone else to appease public sector workers. Is it any wonder public sector unions all want an arbitration reward?

Demand change. Speak up, we cannot afford two more years of the Liberal government in Ontario.
