A pair of Justin Bieber’s underwear has gone on display in his native Canada as part of an exhibition about his rise to pop superstardom.

Justin Bieber Exhibit — Steps to Stardom officially opened at the Stratford Perth Museum in Ontario on Sunday, when fans were able to check out a wide range of memorabilia, dating back to the singer’s early days as an aspiring performer.

The show includes various stage outfits from Bieber’s tour archives, a pair of sneakers, his old ice hockey jacket from his time with the local Stratford Warriors team, a personalised letter from former U.S. first lady Michelle Obama, and some underwear he was gifted by comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

The museum’s general manager, John Kastner, tells Billboard. com, “The quirkiest item we have is a pair of Ellen underwear, a take home gift after appearing on the (Ellen DeGeneres) show.”

Also on display are a drum kit that belonged to the 23-year-old Sorry singer as a child, and his Grammy, Emmy, and Teen Choice awards.

The Steps to Stardom exhibit, put together with help from Bieber’s grandparents Diane and Bruce Dale, runs until December 31, and museum officials are thrilled to celebrate Bieber’s legacy so far.

“We’re very excited about this exhibit and helping to share a fascinating story about a hometown hero who’s gone on to remarkable achievements,” they state in a press release.

“We’re grateful to Justin and his family for supporting what we wanted to do and allowing us to share a piece of their lives with the world.”
