A true Christmas gift

During the week prior to Christmas, this senior citizen was admitted into the Greater Niagara General Hospital with pneumonia, failing kidneys and a blood disorder — not good! My five-day recuperation at the hospital was quite an adventure. Cat scans, X-rays, IVs, routine blood analysis, tempered with a superlative amount of TLC. My medical treatment, by a large number of highly dedicated professionals, was absolutely outstanding.

To all our dedicated health care professionals, I am most grateful to you for your exemplary conduct, not just on my behalf, but also for all the ailing individuals that were in emergency the week prior to Christmas. I also wish to express my gratitude to all of the support staff individuals who continue to be committed to maintaining our superlative Canadian health care system.
