New strength coach
A registered kinesiologist who currently trains athletes at The Club at White Oaks in Niagaraon-the-Lake is joining the Niagara IceDogs as the Ontario Hockey League team’s strength coach. Nick Tamburri is a licensed personal trainer who earned a bachelors degree in kinesiology from Brock University. He specializes in training professional and amateur athletes, as well as in rehabilitation and group training. “He comes into this role with a great background in successfully working with local athletes, as well as OHL players,” IceDogs general manager Joey Burke said. Tamburri’s focuses are improving performance and injury prevention.
