After long investigation, Port Colborne man faces child pornography charges
Niagara Regional Police have arrested a Port Colborne man following an investigation into the sexual exploitation of children.
The investigation, which started last September, led police to a home in Port Colborne.
It has resulted in the arrest of 35-yearold Joseph Franklin Crawford.
He is charged with four counts of possession of child pornography and three counts each of accessing child pornography and make available child pornography.
The accused was arrested Wednesday and is being held in custody pending the outcome of a Thursday bail hearing.
