KIRLEY, Nora Rita (nee Murtha)

Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday January 31, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Gregory (2011) and cherished mother of Robert of Ridgeway, Tom (Suzanne) of West Lincoln, Andrew (Toyoko) of St. Davids and Matthew of Niagara Falls. Loving grandmother of Karen (Pat) Pascuzzi, Brian, Alex (Kennedy), Colleen (Daniel), Benjamin and Ian Kirley, Stephen (Hailey), Olivia and Sarah Desroches, and greatgrandmother of Enzo and Marchello. She will be dearly missed by son-in-law Mike Stewart, daughter-in-law Margaret Kirley, son-in-law Chris Desroches, sister Phyllis Carter, sister-in-law Jean Kirley, brother-in-law Rev. Father Kevin Kirley, CSB and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her children Pat Stewart, Paul Kirley, Rebecca Desroches, Joseph Kirley and brother Clair Murtha. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the LHIN PSWS and also neighbour Gertrude Doherty for her outstanding friendship and care over the years. Mrs. Kirley was a long-time, active parishioner of St. Thomas More Church and a devoted member of the Catholic Women's League. Respecting the restrictions of COVID-19, a private visitation and Funeral Mass have been arranged with the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Nora, memorial contributions may be made to Project Share, and would be appreciated.
