Little tugboat Theodore Too visiting Niagara

-

Theodore Too — the 65-foot replica of the popular children’s TV show character Theodore Tugboat — has chugged his way to St. Catharines.

The smiling, wide-eyed tugboat is expected to dock overnight at Dalhousie Yacht Club, and be available for kids and families to visit there all day Tuesday.

The yacht club is at 74 Lighthouse Rd. in Port Dalhousie.

Visiting will be done in a safe, physically distanced manner.

Theodore has been travelling across Lake Ontario lately, making several stops to promote water conservation before settling into his new permanent home in Hamilton Harbour. The boat is owned by Blair Mckeil, president of Mckeil Marine in Burlington.

?? JULIE JOCSAK TORSTAR ?? Theodore Too, a large replica of the famed Theodore Tugboat, sits at Port Weller in St. Catharines on Monday before it travels to Port Dalhousie.
