TOKUC, Iskender

Passed away suddenly at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of 34 years to Lisa (nee Mcgrath). Cherished father of Alex (Aimee) Tokuc, Matthew (Sheldyn) Tokuc, Nicole Tokuc (Sebastian Soccio-marandola) and loving grandpa of his 'babies' Noelle and Monet. Devoted son of Janet (the late Yusuf) Tokuc, and son-in-law of James (the late Beverly) Mcgrath. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Suphi (Marianne) Tokuc, Sabiha (Ilyas) Dulda, Ibrahim (Semra) Tokuc, Arman (Karolin) Tokuc, sister-in-law Eleanor (Emilio) Caputo, brother-in-law Adrian (Cathy) Mcgrath. He will be lovingly missed by his nieces and nephews; Diana (Fethi) Arslanlar, Cem (Dilara) Dulda, Tiffany (Andy) Snazyk, Tanya (Kyle) Hingley, Trisha (Michael) Skupien, Jennifer (Kerem) Bensin, Joseph Tokuc, Ronny Tokuc, Stephanie Tokuc, Patrick Mcgrath, Annie Grace Mcgrath, as well as his aunts, uncles and family in Turkey. Iskender was larger than life, he lived life to the fullest. He will be remembered as a mentor, father figure to many, generous, kind and loved to spend time with family and friends. He loved cooking Sunday dinners for his family and was the epitome of hospitality. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
