Jeanne had a full and rich life, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, knitting, playing Bridge, bowling, playing the piano and organ. She also enjoyed beating her good friend, Ian Hennessy, at cribbage. Many happy hours were spent with Ian and together, they travelled to Bermuda and Russia. Mom met her long-time friend, Susan Phillips, while working at Dr. Gallop's Chiropractic Office, from 1971 to 1991. Susan kept mom supplied with delicious baking and spent many hours visiting. Jeanne was admired and loved by many friends of her children. Thank you to the wonderful staff in the Woodend area of Henley House, that loved and cared for Mom. We are grateful for friends Belle and Peter, with whom Mom enjoyed many laughs and fun times. Mom also received excellent care from the nurses in the Stroke Unit, at Greater Niagara General Hospital.

Family and friends will be received at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home ceremony room, at 1 p.m. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. What a beautiful, peaceful ending to a magnificent life... with prayer and music, enveloped in the love of her devoted family.
