McCrae show opens
The Northern Artist Gallery is proud to announce their exhibit for the month of December will consist of work created by papier mâché artist Suzanne McCrae. An opening reception takes place on Dec. 8 from 1-4 p.m. McCrae is particularly interested in exploring the relationship between humans and animals, both wild and domestic. She creates her artwork in both paint medium and papier mâché sculpture. This results from a long-time interest and study of dogs and their ever-changing relationship to human beings. Art and animals have been McCrae’s passion since her childhood in a small mining community in northwestern Ontario. A lifelong northerner, she now lives in Copper Cliff where she continues to follow her passion. Artists on Elgin, 168 Elgin St., encourages and welcomes the public to stop in Dec. 1-28. Artists on Elgin is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
