Blues for Debi re­turns April 5

The fifth an­nual Blues for Debi will be held April 5 in the Caruso Club’s DaVinci Hall, 385 Haig St. Chicago’s own Mau­rice John Vaughn Band, along with his friends Shirley John­ston, Joseph Mor­gan­field (son of Muddy Waters) and Freddy Dixon (son of Wil­lie Dixon) will per­form. Sud­bury’s North Mem­phis Al­ls­tars opens. Tick­ets are $40 in ad­vance or $50 at the door. All pro­ceeds go to the North­ern Can­cer Foun­da­tion. Tick­ets are avail­able from the North­ern Can­cer Foun­da­tion of­fice, Jett Landry Mu­sic on Lasalle Boule­vard, the Caruso Cub of­fice, A&J Home Hard­ware on Bouchard Street and the Mot­ley Kitchen (down­town on Young Street).
