Art sale: La Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario, 174 Elgin St., has a wide variety of items to sell as a result of a basement clean-up. There are small, medium and large frames, art magazines and books, paintings and random items. Everything must go. Items will be available to purchase 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday to Friday until May 22.
Meditation: Join Lizanne Leclair, owner of VERE Golden Journey, for a weekly series of meditation classes designed for the beginner as well as the seasoned meditator. Bring calmness and relaxation to your day. Classes will be held 12:15 p.m. Thursdays starting March 7 through to May 30 at the Greater Sudbury Public Library’s main branch on MacKenzie Street. The first Thursday class of each month will be dedicated to a special teaching. No registration required. This is a drop-in series offered free to the community.
