Under-16 provincials underway

Four teams will begin play in the Pepsi Softball Newfoundland and Labrador bantam (under-16) girls provincial softball championships in Goulds today.

Teams entered include the host club, Conception Bay Central, Foxtrap and Placentia.

Play begins at 9 o’clock this morning with Goulds taking on Foxtrap. Semifinal contests and the championship game are set for Sunday.
