BUTTON, Mary — (Formerly of Badger’s Quay.) Passed peacefully away on August 11th. 2012 at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, just one month short of her 100th birthday. Predecease­d by her husband Peter, son Jacob, and grandson Wayne. Left with fond and loving memories is her son, Jesse (Myrtle); two daughters, Trixie (Percy Hunt) and Lillian (Nathan Dyke); daughter-in-law Shirley; eleven grandchild­ren, Roger (Caroline), Diane, Gail (Dave), Rita (Bruce), Harry (Daphne), Vicki, Ralph (Sandra), Linda (Fred), Ralph (Jennifer), Tracy ( Neal); f ifteen great grandchild­ren; nine great great grandchild­ren; as well as special friends, Violet Hodder and Theresa Casey. CARTER, Frances Windsor — Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, August 12th, 2012, Frances Carter, aged 80 years, formerly of Greenspond. Predecease­d by her sister, Amelia Baker and special friends Magdalene Phelan and Rick Fifield. LAWLOR, Frank — Passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday August 11, 2012, Frank Lawlor, age 92 years, (former Airport Manager, St. John’s Internatio­nal Airport 1964-1985; Charter Member Rotary Club of St. John’s Northwest). REARDON, David Francis — Passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, August 11th, 2012. David Francis Reardon “Doggie,” aged 68 years; retired City of St. John’s employee and local cab driver. Left with fond and loving memories, his loving and devoted wife of 45 years Diane (Fleming); one son David Jr. (Bonnie); daughters Kimberley Reardon ( Rod Sullivan), Kelly Samson ( Kevin) and Kathy Reid ( Gerald); Grandchild­ren Stephen, Emily, Rodney, Chloe, Justin, Skylar and Stephen. Five brothers and five sisters; one brotherin-law and three sisters-in-law, especially Debbie. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially his driveway buddies, Buster, Gary, Chrissy, Mike and Jerry. There will be no visitation. At David’s request cremation has taken place.
