HAYWARD Alfred Joseph

The gates of heaven opened and a caring, courageous, determined, loving gentleman, slipped gently away, into the arms of his dear Dad Fergus (1996), on Sunday, February 10, 2013, while surrounded by many members of his loving family, Alfred Hayward , o f St. Vincent’s, S.M.B., aged 58 years. We deeply mourn the loss of a dedicated dad, son, brother, brother-in-law, fatherin-law, uncle, cousin, nephew, co-worker and friend. He leaves behind his treasured and devoted son Jordan (Mary) and his mom Sue; loving mother Elizabeth; wonderful brothers: Brian (Patricia), Gerard (Doreen), Fergus (Verna), Eugene, Andy, Hilary (Sharon); special sisters: Eileen ( Junior), Daphne (Austin), Sheila (Eric), Joan (Dave) and extra-special sister Dianne (Brian). Missing their favourite uncle are: Kyle (Karter, Madison and Kennedy), Kara (Ian and Kain), Mark (Kari), Glenda (Paul), Janice (Leon and Lilah), Lorie, Lydia, Emma, Bradley (Randi), Bradley Slaney, John-Paul, Patrick, Andrew, Cassie (Godchild), Candace, Dale, April, Colin, Krista (Christopher), Dylan, Ryan, Cole, Amy and Mara, Nicholas and Owen (and their mom Lisa). Also aunts Josephine Peddigrew, Agnes Gibbons and Marg Hayward, uncle Kevin (Catherine) Hayward and many cousins and friends, especially his buddies of Insulators-Asbestos Workers Local 110, Edmonton, Alberta, special friends, Rob Boychuck (Michelle), Alexis Murphy, Sam Towpich, Fred McCarthy and neighbour Dan Martin. Resting at Fr. Battcock Memorial Chapel, St. Vincent’s, on Wednesday, February 13, from 2-4 p.m.; 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, February 14, 10 a. m. t o 12 p. m.; 2- 4 p. m.; 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Friday, February 15, at 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, St. Vincent’s.
