In the highflying days before the Endless Recession, there were so many big-time team sponsors out there, Kurt would certainly get another chance, based solely on his unquestioned driving ability (and, of course, his sincere apology about past issues and heartfelt desire to make things right). But corporations aren’t lining up at the Hot Pass gate these days, so it would take a team and sponsor willing to take a shot. Eventually, it’ll happen, but nothing is a certainty anymore. Maybe he’ll settle for trying to make Barney’s team a marquee outfit.
