(24)- It’s no “Camp Rock,” but this Canadian-made 2008 family musical has its charms. Will (Justin Stadnyk) works in the kitchen at a summer camp and is smitten with pretty counselor Cindy (Ashley Carter). Winning a wakeboardi­ng competitio­n might be just what he needs to divert her attention away from resident tough guy Chase. Toni MacRae also stars.

Yogi Bear

10:30 a.m. on (48)- TEL The long-beloved Hanna- Barbera character who’s “smarter than the average bear” gets computeran­imated treatment in this enjoyable 2010 feature, with Dan Aykroyd voicing Yogi and Justin Timberlake heard as loyal companion Boo-Boo. They have new adventures in Jellystone Park, which they try to save from being shuttered on its 100th anniversar­y by assisting Ranger Smith (Tom Cavanagh); “Scary Movie” heroine Anna Faris also stars.

Lili

12 p.m. on (50)- TCM The charming Leslie Caron stars as Lili, a young woman who comes to a foreign town to work after her father’s death. Finding her potential employer also is deceased, she follows a couple of circus workers to their encampment. With nothing to do, she hangs around for several days and is unofficial­ly adopted by the crew. The master puppeteer (Mel Ferrer), a bitter man who has fallen in love with her, gives her a paying job. Jean Pierre Aumont and Zsa Zsa Gabor co-star.

Dennis the Menace

3:30 p.m. on (24)- YTV This 1993 comedy is yet another heartwarmi­ng John Hughes tale of a young mischief-maker and the universe that eventually finds him adorable. Mason Gamble has the title role in this adaptation of the comic strip, which co-stars Academy Award winner Walter Matthau as the elderly neighbor with a gruff exterior but a gentle heart. Christophe­r Lloyd and Lea Thompson also star.

Whale Rider

12 a.m. on (46)- FAM A Maori girl (Keisha Castle-Hughes) defies her grandfathe­r (Rawiri Paratene) and 1,000 years of tradition to prove she can lead their tribe in this 2002 internatio­nal hit from New Zealand. Castle-Hughes, an Australian actress who was the same age as her 12-year-old character during filming, became the youngest person in Oscar history to receive a Best Actress nomination for her fearless performanc­e.

Tuesday The Fairly Odd Parents

6:30 p.m. on (24)- YTV In “Fairy Idol,” when Norm the genie wants to change jobs and learns anyone can apply for a vacant fairy godparent position, he is determined to get rid of Cosmo and Wanda (voices of Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee). Trickery pays off, and Norm enters a talent competitio­n to vie for the role of Timmy’s godpar- ent. “American Idol” singer Diana Di Garmo provides a guest voice.

Sixteen Candles

9:30 p.m. on (53)- AMC Molly Ringwald shines in this touching 1984 comedy as Samantha, whose family forgets her 16th birthday in all the excitement surroundin­g her sister’s wedding. Even her grandparen­ts forget, although Grandma does take notice of Samantha’s emerging womanhood. Compoundin­g her adolescent angst is the fact that the guy she likes is ignoring her, and the king of the geeks is in hot pursuit.

Friday The Jackie Robinson Story

4 p.m. on (50)- TCM The baseball great does a credible job in this 1950 biography — and why not? After all, he’s playing himself. The script retraces Robinson’s struggles to emerge from the Negro League and establish himself as the first black player in the major leagues. In doing so, he made himself not only a symbol of athletic achievemen­t, but also of racial advancemen­t. Ruby Dee co-stars as Robinson’s wife, Rachel.
