James Scott

(July 11, 1967 - September 17, 2013)

Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Palliative Care Unit after a courageous battle with leukemia, age 46 years. Predeceased by his older brother Eddie (1968). Scott (Beaver to his friends) will be forever loved and missed by his wife Janet (St. Croix); sons: Devin and Ryan; parents: Steve and Nattie Nolan (St. Mary’s); sisters: Stephanie Yvette Derible and Yvonne Bishop (Robert); brother Stephen (Amanda) and his “older brother” Rick Tobin (Wanda); nephews and nieces: Jonah, Robyn and Amy Bishop, Jacob and Lucas Nolan and Andrew Derible; sisters-in-law: Kay Tobin (Iggie) and Helen Butler; brothers-inlaw: Ralph Yetman (Norah) and Wally St. Croix (Anita); his best buddies: Brian Whalen (Cindy), Carl Bishop (Rhonda), Johnny Corcoran (Gisele), Eddie Lee (Lucy), Blair Power (Natasha), Cyril Martin (Madeline), Gerry and Gert Tobin, Mattie Corcoran (Arlene), Randy Yetman ( Regina) and Eddy White (Hiroko); special neighbors: George and Sheila Burry and Derm and Theresa Power, and a very wide circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. At his request there will be no funeral. A memorial service will be held for family and friends at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in St. Mary’s on Saturday, September 21 at 2 p.m. Internment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation or the H. Bliss Murphy Cancer care Foundation.
