Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Palliative Care Unit after a courageous battle with leukemia, age 46 years. Predecease­d by his older brother Eddie (1968). Scott (Beaver to his friends) will be forever loved and missed by his wife Janet (St. Croix); sons: Devin and Ryan; parents: Steve and Nattie Nolan (St. Mary’s); sisters: Stephanie Yvette Derible and Yvonne Bishop (Robert); brother Stephen (Amanda) and his “older brother” Rick Tobin (Wanda); nephews and nieces: Jonah, Robyn and Amy Bishop, Jacob and Lucas Nolan and Andrew Derible; sisters-in-law: Kay Tobin (Iggie) and Helen Butler; brothers-inlaw: Ralph Yetman (Norah) and Wally St. Croix (Anita); his best buddies: Brian Whalen (Cindy), Carl Bishop (Rhonda), Johnny Corcoran (Gisele), Eddie Lee (Lucy), Blair Power (Natasha), Cyril Martin (Madeline), Gerry and Gert Tobin, Mattie Corcoran (Arlene), Randy Yetman ( Regina) and Eddy White (Hiroko); special neighbors: George and Sheila Burry and Derm and Theresa Power, and a very wide circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. At his request there will be no funeral. A memorial service will be held for family and friends at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in St. Mary’s on Saturday, September 21 at 2 p.m. Internment will take place at a later date. As expression­s of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation or the H. Bliss Murphy Cancer care Foundation.
