Karen Walsh, from the Office to Advance Women Apprentice­s, has been instrument­al in shortening the frustratin­gly long time between graduation to apprentice­ship opportunit­ies for those women, which was difficult for them and, also, for the many consumers awaiting the assistance of a qualified tradespers­on.
