Freake, Bazeley take Cape to Cabot titles

David Freake posted the fastest time at the seventh annual Cape to Cabot road race Sunday.

Freake won the race in 1:14:24. Shawn Stratton was runner up in 1:21:06

Lee Bennett placed third in the male category with a time of 1:21:47, followed by Chris Pope (1:22:59) and Andrew Baker (1:24:33).

Kate Bazeley won the female category with a time of 1:21:15.

Allison Hobeika was runner- up in 1:30:41, while Susan Martyn placed third in 1:34:44.

Andrea Morrissey finished fourth in 1:36:51 followed by Carrie Commerford in 1:36:59.

There were about 400 finishers.
