A great new program for the membership
Hockey Canada in partnership with Hockey NL launched the new Club Hockey Canada program last season. Every registered hockey participant’s household in the province received a welcome package and membership card in the Fall of 2012. The program was created to provide added value to registered hockey players, their parents, coaches and officials. Jack Lee is the President for Hockey NL, and he believes this loyalty program will benefit his members. “We understand the cost of the game is increasing, and we think this program will provide our members with exclusive money savings and benefits. There is an online store where members can make everyday purchases with a portion of every dollar spent being banked to help with reducing future registration fees,” said Lee.
Members who have discarded or did not receive their package can still visit the Club Hockey Canada website and activate their card, to start getting instant benefits as a member of Hockey Canada. Card activation is necessary to take advantage of all the program’s benefits. Hockey Canada, Hockey NL and their partners have provided opportunities for the hockey family to make choices to save on their annual cost of the game. Hockey NL encourages all parents to take advantage of this opportunity and would like to increase the activation rates throughout the province of Newfoundland and Labrador this season.
Another beneficial feature of Club Hockey Canada is the new Team Hub feature. Team Hub is a FREE hockey team management tool, available exclusively to Club Hockey Canada members. Available online or optimized for mobile browsing, minor hockey teams can use the Team Hub this season to communicate with each other, manage rosters and player availability, update team and players statistics, create and share team schedules. The program also has a pho- to library and team messaging and a whole bunch of other great features that will enhance the experience for the membership. It is a great program to engage family members to follow players throughout the season.
