MOSS John D.

(October 10, 1933 - July 26, 2014) Pulling anchor one last time - setting sail for his journey home. Having been graced for 80 years with good health, loving family and cherished friends, John reluctantly departed to embark on his next voyage. Predeceased by his wife, Julia Marie Moss (Hatch) in 2006, he leaves behind his heart broken family: his children - Lynda (Ed Woodley), Antonia (Carl Parsons), John Jr. (Alva) and Deborah (Junior Dunne). His life partner Rosella Moore - whom he cherished with all his heart and her family (Carol (Ed) Power, Jim (Alice) Rowe, David Rowe and Amanda Power). His little sister, Roxanne (Tom Puddicombe). His sister-in-law Evelyn Kelly. His grandchildren Scott (Lisa), Mark (Ashley) and Rick Nelson (their father Leonard Nelson), Jenell (Marlon) and Carla (Brian) Parsons, Jonathan (Tawnya) and Megan Moss and Robyn Dunne. One greatgranddaughter Emma Nelson. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. His very dear friends of the Conception Harbour area, Witless Bay and Tarpon Springs, Florida. Resting peacefully at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Main Road, Holyrood, NL. Sunday and Monday 2pm to 4 pm - 7pm to 9pm. Mass at St. Anne's Church, Conception Harbour on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:00 am - interment to follow at RC Cemetery, Bay de Verde, NL. Flowers appreciated.
