Kraken released on TSX Venture Exchange

St. John’s — Kraken Sonar Inc. of Conception Bay South (TSXVENTURE: PNG) started trading today on the TSX Venture Exchange, the company announced in a news release. Kraken, formerly known as Anergy Capital Inc., produces and sells a software-centric version of synthetic aperture sonar (SAS) technology, which it calls “the next generation of sonar.” Such technology can be used for military surveillance, for example, and can result in very high-resolution images at long range. “Being publicly traded is a fundamental step for our company, giving us access to growth capital in step with our strategic plan,” said president and CEO Karl Kenny.
