Newfoundland Labrador Command makes donation to Royal Newfoundland Regiment Museum
Frank Sullivan, President, Newfoundland Labrador Command made a presentation to Frank Gogos, chair, Royal Newfoundland Regiment Museum on June 6. Two flags in the background were a part of the larger donation signifying the close relationship between the Great War Veteran’s Association of Newfoundland and the Royal Newfoundland Regiment. The flags included a ceremonial flag of Boston Post No.1, an auxiliary branch incorporated in 1935 by Newfoundland veterans of the Great War living in Boston. Also presented were postcards from the First World War and a selection of archival material related to the 166th Newfoundland Field Regiment from the Second World War.
