Newfoundla­nd Labrador Command makes donation to Royal Newfoundla­nd Regiment Museum


Frank Sullivan, President, Newfoundla­nd Labrador Command made a presentati­on to Frank Gogos, chair, Royal Newfoundla­nd Regiment Museum on June 6. Two flags in the background were a part of the larger donation signifying the close relationsh­ip between the Great War Veteran’s Associatio­n of Newfoundla­nd and the Royal Newfoundla­nd Regiment. The flags included a ceremonial flag of Boston Post No.1, an auxiliary branch incorporat­ed in 1935 by Newfoundla­nd veterans of the Great War living in Boston. Also presented were postcards from the First World War and a selection of archival material related to the 166th Newfoundla­nd Field Regiment from the Second World War.
