Police looking for two men who broke into shopping centre
Two thieves made away with what police are calling “a large sum of money” in a theft overnight at the Exploit’s Valley Mall.
At approximately 2:20 a.m. on Monday, two individuals broke into the side entrance to the mall and proceeded to the Lotto Booth Kiosk located inside the mall, a police news release stated Monday afternoon.
The locked doors on the kiosk were pried open and the money taken, the release added.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Grand Falls Windsor is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the two men involved in the theft.
The individuals are described as:
• The first suspect is described as heavy set, approximately 5’8” to 5’10” and wearing a grey Old Navy hoodie, dark pants, and black and white joggers.
• The second suspect is described as lighter set, approximately 5’7” to 5’8” and wearing a two-tone blue jacket, jeans and white high-top joggers.
