Goulds man charged with assault

Royal Newfoundland Constabulary patrol officers charged a man in Goulds early Tuesday with assault.

Police say there was also an outstanding warrant for the 44-yearold man. The incident happened shortly before 2:30 a.m.

He was held in custody for a court appearance.
