Provincial development team holds fundraiser

Members of the provincial junior development team participated in a fund-raising initiative to generate funds to support their yearend activities that will take place at Humber Valley Resort in mid September. There were a maximum of 300 tickets available for the draw at a cost of $5 per ticket, and players sold 202 tickets. The prize was a standard M1 driver supplied by Taylormade. The draw took place on July 4 at the players’ dinner as part of the 2017 Royal Lepage Provincial Junior Championships. The winning ticket was drawn by local tournament chairperson Debbie Kenway and the winner was Serge Cormier of Corner Brook. The development team would like to thank Taylormade for supplying the prize and to all of the individuals who purchased tickets for the fundraising initiative.
