Legrow did it all with Mount Pearl soccer

A well-known member of the Mount Pearl soccer community passed away Thursday. Dave Legrow was 69. A member of the Mount Pearl Soccer Hall of Fame and Mount Pearl Sports Hall of Fame, Legrow began volunteering with Mount Pearl soccer in 1994. During his time with the association, he did everything from coach house league teams to officiate, convene tournaments, serve on the finance and management committees, the senior and all-star committees, the management committee for Mount Pearl’s Challenge Cup team, and represent the association at Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association meetings.

In addition to his duties with the Mount Pearl association, Legrow served more than 15 years on the NLSA executive as treasurer and secretary.
