Multiple fake 911 calls land St. John’s man in slammer

St. John’s, N.L. —A 64-year-old man was in court Sunday after he made one too many fake 911 calls.

Around 2 a.m. Sunday RNC Patrol Services responded to the area of Waterford Bridge Road and arrested the man after he had made numerous calls on 911 when he required no emergency assistance. He was charged with mischief and breaches of court order. He was held in custody overnight.
