Assault with weapon lands St. John’s man in court
ST. JOHN’S, N.L. — A 30-year-old man was in provincial court Sunday after police were called to a domestic disturbance around 11 o’clock Saturday night. The RNC and police dog services answered the call to a domestic disturbance in the East end of the capital city. The man was arrested a short distance away.
He was charged with one count of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and possession of a weapon. He was held in custody until his court appearance.
