$1.7-M contract for Corner Brook hospital given to EY

Ernst & Young LLP (EY) has been awarded the $1.7-million contract for financial and procurement advisory services for Corner Brook’s new acute care regional hospital project.

The provincial government said in a news release that construction will begin later this fall for the 50,000-square-metre hospital. It should be complete by 2023. Steve Crocker, minister of Transportation and Works, said in a news release that having a procurement advisor on this type of project is a best practice.
