Edge sign another player
With their first-ever regularseason game this coming weekend, expect some roster trimming for the St. John’s Edge over the next few days. Nevertheless, on Monday, the Edge announced an addition to their training camp roster. The National Basketball of Canada expansion team has signed Toronto native Grandy The 25-year-old Glaze, is a forward who played four seasons in the NCAA with Saint Louis and Grand Canyon. The 6-7, 230-pounder averaged 13.97 points and 5.1 rebounds per game during he 2015-2016 season with the Grand Canyon Antelopes. Last season, Glaze was with teams in Mexican pro leagues. He also appeared in 3 games for Team Canada in the 2017 FIBA Ameri-cup. The Edge debut Saturday in Charlottetown. P.E.I. against the Island Storm as part of a five-game road trip. Their home opener is Dec. 1 at Mile One Centre versus the Niagara River Lions.
