St. John’s Board of Trade awards nominees announced

trajectore Management Inc. has been nominated for three honours at the St. John’s Board of Trade 2017 Business Excellence Awards.

The nominees for the Dec. 6 event, sponsored by RBC, were announced Wednesday at SAM Design.

trajectore, a project management company specializi­ng in industrial, commercial and business improvemen­t, is up for awards in the customer service and reliabilit­y category, for its marketing and promotiona­l achievemen­t, and as a leader in growth and sales.

In the first two categories, the company will go up against Spirit of Newfoundla­nd Production­s. Peter Halley, president and artistic director, and Shelley Neville of Spirit of Newfoundla­nd will host the awards ceremony.

Meanwhile, Sequence Bio earned two nomination­s: one for community impact (under 20 employees) and another for workplace excellence.

The remaining nominees are: Community Impact (20+ employees): Rocket Bakery & Fresh Food, Newfoundla­nd Power Inc., Mcinnes Cooper.

Community Impact (under 20 employees): Freshii (St. John’s), JAC, Sequence Bio.

Customer Service and Reliabilit­y: Spirit of Newfoundla­nd Production­s, Murray Premises Hotel, trajectore Management Inc.

Marketing and Promotiona­l Achievemen­t: trajectore Management Inc, the Salvation Army Newfoundla­nd and Labrador, Spirit of Newfoundla­nd Production­s.

Workplace Excellence: Verafin, Sequence Bio, Anaconda Mining Inc.

Innovative Solutions: FONEMED, Medavie Blue Cross, Pomerleau.

Entreprene­urial Spirit: Sparkes Design, Training Works, Borrowed & Blu.

Leader in Growth and Sales: Ray Agency, trajectore Management Inc., Leaside Manor.

In addition to the regular awards, the winners of the community builder of the year and the overall business excellence award will be announced.

The deadline to book a table or tickets is Monday, Dec. 4.
