The City of St. John’s, in partnership with the MMSB and MUN Botanical Garden, is offering a free backyard composting information session to residents of St. John’s at MUN Botanical Garden, 306 Mount Scio Rd. Workshops are free and no registration is required. St. John’s residents who have attended the one-hour session can purchase bins from the City of St. John’s. A standard compost bin is $50 and a tumbler compost bin (free standing, doesn’t touch the ground) is $75.
