Playing at new park
Children from the City of St. John’s parks and recreation summer day camp play Thursday morning at the new Paul Johnson Memorial Park at the Paul Reynolds Community Centre. The city opened the new park Thursday morning. It was named as a tribute to Johnson, a local business icon and philanthropist, who made his mark around the capital city through the Johnson Family Foundation, namely with the Grand Concourse Authority walking trails, the Johnson GEO Centre on Signal Hill and the Railway Coastal Museum on Water Street west.
