It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Dorothy Elizabeth Converse (Age 81 years). Predecease­d by her daughter, Linda Murphy, parents, Charles and Mary Brocklehur­st, Ida (Frank Morris / Leo O’leary), brothers, Frank (Bessie), Jack (Helen), sisters Mary (George) Ballard, Muriel Joyce, Patricia, and special cousin Joan (Hayward) Dawe. Leaving to mourn her son, Leo, daughter, Leeann (Gerald) O’brien, grandchild­ren, Dorothy, Lana (Adam Andrews), Christophe­r, Michael, Andrew, P.J. and Aileen (Bryler) Baker, great-grandchild­ren, Avayah, Annabelle, Addison, and Myalee, her “boys”, Darren and Hubert, to whom she dedicated 35 years of loving care, brothers, Peter (Geraldine) O’leary, George (Marina), Fred (Janet), Bernie (Marilyn), Mike (Donna), sisters, Barb (Frank) Connors, Martha (Harry) Grauf, and Beatrice, brother-in-law Bob Joyce of Indiana, son-in-law Chris Murphy and his mother Joan, special cousins Mike Dodd, Lynn Baird, Margaret (Tom) Quinn of Boston, and Donna (Mike) Christman of New York, friend Ann Kelly of Holyrood, and long-standing work family Ruth Wadland, John Chafe, Brian Moyst, Tammy Wheaton, and Vicki Hunt, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Cauls Funeral Home, 84 Lemarchant Road on Friday and Saturday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Teresa’s Church, 120 Mundy Pond Road on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
