HOWARD Irene

Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on Thursday, November 8, 2018, Irene Howard (nee Layman) age 85 years. Predeceased by her husband Cyril, parents Patrick and Catherine Layman, sisters Genevieve, Tekawitha and Loretta, brothers Willjoe and Jerome. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Jeff (Robin Collins), Una (Max Harvey) and Alice (James Alexander); grandchildren whom she adored: Brooke and Kelsey Templeman, Bailey, Sydney and Lucy Howard; sisters: Mary, Pauline, Leone, Geraldine, Marion and Monica; brothers: Morgan, Eugene and Perry; special friend Marie O’neill; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road on Friday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from The Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, or a donation in Irene’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.
