Passed peacefully away November 8th, 2018 at St. Clare’s Hospital in the presence of his loving family, Michael Thomas Walsh in his 82nd year, formerly of Little Bona, Placentia Bay. Predecease­d by his parents Patrick and Catherine Walsh (nee Power), sisters Mary Dray and Theresa Houlihan and brothers Patrick and Joseph Walsh. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, his devoted wife Patricia (nee Mullowney), his children Dean (April), Dana, Darlene (Len), Desmond, Denise and Damian; his grandchild­ren Jonathan, Danielle, Alicia, David, Nicholas, Dylan, Abigail, Devon, Nathan and Jayme-lynn; greatgrand­children Christophe­r and Casey. Also leaving to mourn his sister Martha Ward (Ignatius-deceased), sisters-in-law Faustina Cummings (Jamesdecea­sed), Eleanor Dawe (Howard), Margaret Cole (Greg), Anne Lawrence (Mike); brothers-in-law Gerald Houlihan, Dennis Dray, Mike Mullowney and Tony O’brien. He also leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Resting at Cauls Funeral Home, 84 Lemarchant Road with visitation on Saturday, November 10th, 7 p .m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday, November 11th, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Military Road on Monday November 12th, 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Kilbride Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay Bulls Road. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donation may be made in Michael’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
