7 DAY FORECAST, ST. JOHN’S
CINDY SAYS: As was the case last weekend, the weather will be split down the middle with rain Saturday followed by improving conditions on Sunday. The one constant will be the wind. It will blow from the SE with gusts to 60 km/h as the rain rolls through then shift to the W overnight into Sunday morning as the clearing pushes in. Sunday’s wind will also gust between 50 and 70 km/h. High temperatures will be in the low single digits on Remembrance Day. I don’t see much of a break between fall storms – I’m watching a developing system over the American Midwest that is showing signs of intense cyclogenesis – aka Weather Bomb intensification. The leading edge of that powerful storm would reach our region by Wednesday with more rain and possible damaging wind!
