2018 REMEMBRANC­E DAY PARADE AND CEREMONY

8:30 A.M. — Ceremony at the Field of Honour, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Wreath laying ceremony at the Memorial at the Field of Honour.

9:45 A.M. — All Parade Participan­ts Form Up at Warrant Officer & Sergeants Memorial.

10:10 A.M. — Ceremony at the Warrant Officers & Sergeant’s Memorial with Last Post and Reveille. CEREMONY AT THE NATIONAL WAR MEMORIAL 10:30 A.M. — The Parade moves off from the Sergeant’s Memorial for the National War Memorial via Queen’s Road, Church Hill, east on Duckworth Street, Cochrane Street and west on Water Street.

10:30 A.M. — Those designated to lay wreaths meet at the National War Memorial.

10:50 A.M. — The Parade arrives at the National War Memorial.

A.M. — Her Honour the Honourable Judy M Foote, PC, ONL, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundla­nd and Labrador, and His Honour Howard W. Foote arrive at the National War Memorial. Met by RCL Provincial President Berkley Lawrence and escorted to the Memorial Plateau. The Lieutenant Governor takes the Royal Salute from the Parade.

LAYING OF WREATHS

During the laying of wreaths, the “Recessiona­l” and other appropriat­e music will be played by The C.L.B. Regimental Band, alternatin­g with the Singing Legionnair­es, who will sing appropriat­e hymns.

At the completion of the service at the National War Memorial, the Lieutenant­governor of Newfoundla­nd and Labrador will move to the Court House for the March Past. Parade reforms and moves off via Water Street, west to the Court House for the March Past. Salute will be taken by Her Honour The Honourable Judy M. Foote, PC, ONL, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundla­nd and Labrador.
