Basil J. Tracey

May 16, 1943 – September 27, 2018 The family of the late Basil Tracey would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who helped alleviate our pain and sorrow on the passing of a Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother-in-law. Thank you to relatives and friends for attending the wake and funeral and for their many acts of kindness, prayers, Mass cards, sympathy cards, emails, phone calls, food, flowers and donations made to The Alzheimer’s Society of Newfoundland in his memory. Your thoughtfulness will always be appreciated. Thank you to Dr. William Grant of Wedgewood Clinic, doctors, nurses and staff at the Waterford Hospital and Pleasantville Towers for your care and compassion. Thank you for the friendships we formed with the families of the residents there. Thank you to Caul’s Funeral Home for your professionalism and assistance. Thank you to Father Wayne Dohey for his beautiful funeral service and to Patsy Critch for the Reading, Paula Corbett for the Intercession, Margaret Cranford for speaking about our friendship for many years and Michael Fagan for his beautiful singing and music. It is impossible to thank everyone individually but please be assured that your expressions have provided strength and comfort and will remain in our hearts forever.
