Assault charge laid after police called to St. John’s east end home
St. John’s, N.L. — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the east end of St. John’s Saturday night around 10 o’clock. An investigation by the officers resulted in a 39-year-old man being charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm. He was held at the lockup for a court appearance in the morning.
