Man, woman charged after early morning disturbance in St. John’s
St. John’s, N.L. —A man and a woman were in court to face charges Saturday morning after the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a disturbance in the centre-city area around 3:30 a.m.
The 46-year-old man has been charged with assault and forcible confinement. A 35-year-old woman was charged with breaches of a court order. Both were detained and for their respective court appearances later Saturday morning.
