Passed peace­fully away on Fri­day, Jan­uary 11th, 2019, Sheila Mary Mor­ris, in her 91st year. Pre­de­ceased by her par­ents Dr. M. F. and Mrs. L. G. Ho­gan (nee Guy), her sib­lings Dr. Guy, Michael and Dr. Joan Ho­gan. Leav­ing to mourn, her sis­ters Ann Ho­gan and Mau­reen Doyle, brother-in-law Sid Mor­ris, sis­ter-in-law Rose­mary Trim­ble (Ten­nessee) and sis­ter-in-law Dean Ho­gan. Also leav­ing to mourn, her eight chil­dren: Bruce (Pa­tri­cia), Lynn, Karen (Neil Penney), Stu­art, Jane, Colin, Blair (Claudette Kennedy) and Me­gan, as well as eleven grand­chil­dren: Colin Mor­ris; Hope, Liam and Daniel Ben­nett; Kee­gan and Olivia Mor­ris; Grace and Jasper Mor­ris; Han­nah and Claire Mor­ris; Ka­te­rina Hot­ja­sevs, and great-grand­chil­dren Lawrence and Elise. Spe­cial thanks to Sheila’s de­voted care­giver Al­li­son Crisby. Through­out her life, Sheila was an ac­tive and com­mit­ted vol­un­teer, con­tribut­ing count­less hours to many char­i­ties and com­mu­nity causes. Her un­selfish na­ture, kind­ness, com­pas­sion and gen­eros­ity had a tremen­dous im­pact on all those who knew and loved her. She will be sadly missed by her fam­ily and many friends. Vis­i­ta­tion will be held at Hickey’s Fu­neral Home in Kel­li­grews on Sun­day, Jan­uary 13th from 7-9 PM and Mon­day, Jan­uary 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Fu­neral Mass will be held at St. Thomas of Villa Nova on Tues­day, Jan­uary 14 at 11 AM. Do­na­tions in Sheila’s mem­ory may be made to the CNIB or a char­ity of one’s choice.
