Where do the candidates stand on direct Dublin flights?

With the federal election almost upon us, I have two simple questions for the candidates in the two St. John’s districts:

What have you actually done to restore St John’s Dublin direct airline route? Please include dates of meetings attended, airlines contacted and press releases from you related to the issue. If elected, what is your immediate plan over the next six months to help restore this flight?
