BURSEY Lisa

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Lisa Bursey on December 1st 2019, from St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, age 40. Lisa was the type of person who would never see anyone without anything, she was such a well loved and generous soul. She is predeceased by her grandparents Marina & Boyd Horwood. Leaving to mourn with precious and loving memories, her loving husband Dwayne; devoted mother & best friend Sharon (Desmond); special aunt Carol; special uncle Tony; special uncle Jim (Barbara) whom all treated her like a daughter, their children: Jimmy (Amanda), Chadwick, Nicholas, Carly & Courtney; parents-in-law Ross & Angela Bursey; brother-in-law Cory Bursey; sister-in-law Valerie Bursey, nephew Colby; special friend Jamie; Deanne, Heather & Courtney who we would like to thank for travelling to see her while she was sick; special great-niece Grace; her work friends; as well as a large circle of extended family & friends. The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to Francine & Nancy at the Dialysis Unit, St. Clare’s; to nurse Linda Macpherson, Topsail Rd. Dialysis Clinic; to Dr. Allison Drover, Torbay Rd. Medical Clinic, for her care and compassion; & to Dr. Ellsworth & ER staff at St. Clare’s Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A gathering for friends and family to share memories and celebrate Lisa’s life will be held on December 5th from 4PM-8PM at Barrett’s Reception Centre, 328 Hamilton Ave. Flowers are gratefully accepted, or a donation in her memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
