Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, January 23, 2020, surrounded by his loving family, Adrian Joseph St. Croix, “AJ/ Duke” (airport fire chief, retired) in his 88th year. Predecease­d by his loving wife Mary “Stella” St. Croix (nee Mcgrath); parents Harriett and William St. Croix; parents-in-law Francis and Frances Mcgrath; sister Carmel Thistle; brother Mike (Maureen) St. Croix; brother-inlaw Hamp Cayson; sisters-in-law Kay Carew and Joan Mcgrath. Leaving to mourn his loving children: Robert (Patty), Adrian (Corinne), Marjorie (Darren) and Frank (Susan); grandchild­ren: Chris, Logan, Stephen, Adrian, Samantha, Matthew, Luke, Alexis, Ashley and Addison; great-grandchild­ren: Emily, Hailey and Madison; sister Mary Cayson; brothers: Bill (Winnie), Bren (Peg), Frank (Rita) and Ed (Bernice); brothersin-law: Roy Thistle, Bill Wheeler, Bren and Tom Mcgrath; sistersin-law Marge Wheeler and Pat Mcgrath; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. A sincere thank you for the care and attention provided by the staff of 3NW at Pleasant View Towers and the doctors and nurses of 5SB at the Health Sciences Centre. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road, on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 28 & 29, from 1 pm – 4 pm and 7 pm – 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church, Waterford Bridge Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local food bank.
